The use of methamphetamine has become a crisis and it needs to be stopped before more lives are needlessly lost. Consumption of the drug has been escalating since 2016 according to with fatal overdoses becoming all too frequent. The problem is researchers don't have a clear-cut answer as to why. The policy brief, Addressing the Methamphetamine Crisis Before it Gets Worse takes a look at the trends and suggests that a prompt and aggressive response is the needed.
